Three-batter minimum / lineup issue

Started a new manager save, during Game 2 I used a pinch hitter for my pitcher and then replaced him with a new pitcher but I accidentally put a second pitcher in the batting lineup (got confused about which pitcher was in the game currently)

Now it won't let me put in a new pitcher because of the three-batter minimum, and won't let me set the pitcher in the lineup to pitch. The game is stuck in this state and won't let me go back to gameplay. I quit and restarted OOTP and it took me back to the home screen, but every time I opened the game in question it gave me the same issue
