Another newbie question

So I was going through the forums (better late than never) - and it looks like there was a way that I could have prevented my (started in 1919) White Sox franchise from losing all of the Black Sox after the 1920 season (not sure where in the settings it was - or how exactly - any direction - with screen shots preferably - on that would be nice to know).

My question - I'm 5 games into 1921 - is there a way I can go back and redo so I don't lose Jackson, Felsch, Weaver, Risberg, Cicotte and Williams? They still had some good years left in them... Or do I need to start over (back in 1919)?
