Coup d'état Baseball League

Coup d'état Baseball League launched on OOTP 22. We are currently in June of the 2022 season. We just lost our Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics GMs and are seeking replacements. Please shoot me a PM if interested. I will copy & paste our constitution below.

COUP D’ETAT BASEBALL LEAGUE CONSTITUTION

GENERAL:

We will sim five times per week between Opening Day and the Trade Deadline in game (M, T, W, Th, Sa). We will add a sixth sim after the Trade Deadline until we get back to Opening Day (M, T, W, Th, Sa, Su). Each sim will span Monday-Monday on the game calendar.
The commissioners reserve the right to go to multi-week sims late in the offseason.
League communication is thru slack.
Please respect everyone. Consistent misconduct will result in ramifications.
Stats+ Enabled.

GAME SETTINGS

Tools and Pitch Ratings are on the 20-80 scale. OVR/POT are turned OFF.
Injuries on Realistic Modern Day
Player aging is turned to .975 for hitters and pitcher
Talent Change Randomness is turned to 125
There will be no indy league free agents
There will be international free agents
Scouting discoveries and generated INTL players will both be set to MORE
2% inflation will be baked in

LEAGUE RULES

CONTRACTS
Players must have received arbitration at least one time before receiving a multi year extension.
No vesting options

TRADES
The commissioners reserve the right to put a 24 hour hold on any trades deemed poor for league health, however, we will not actually veto any trades. This 24 hours is for GM’s to hear other offers and/or think about if they actually want to do the deal. Keep in mind the bigger the name, especially early on, the more likely it is this gets enforced. If you’re going to make a big trade, do your due diligence.

CHANGES TO THE ORIGINAL FILE

The OOTP 22 file does not have the Francisco Lindor or Lance McCullers Spring Training extensions. The commissioners will edit these in.
Some owner traits and market sizes are simply unrealistic. We will use Nielsen’s DMA Rankings to help set realistic market sizes. NOTE: The second most popular team in a given market will get a hit to them (Mets, White Sox, Angels, Athletics). The market sizes will be as listed below (# & name). Some teams will also get a hit based off real life behavior/TV contracts (Rays, A’s, Marlins) or a boost (Brewers, Cardinals, Padres, Red Sox)
10/Astronomical - Yankees, Dodgers
9/Huge - Mets
8/Very Big - Angels, Phillies, Cubs, Red Sox
7/Big - Rangers, Giants, Nationals, Astros
6/Above Average - Blue Jays, White Sox, Braves
5/Average - Diamondbacks, Mariners, Tigers, Twins, Rockies, Cardinals, Padres
4/Below Average - Athletics, Brewers, Marlins, Indians
3/Small - Rays, Pirates, Orioles, Reds, Royals
The 40-man Rosters will reflect real life 40-man rosters

OTHER

The goal is realism. Before making any move, ask if your move is rooted in realism.
Any changes to league rules will require a 2/3rds vote to pass
