Do you get a standard pack for playing a season in challenge mode regardless where you finish?

What generates a gold pack reward?

It’s a closely guarded secret what yields a Gold Pack. As for standard packs, nothing to do with where you finish unless that’s the achievement du jour.

It's not a secret. Every time you earn any achievement you have a random chance for a pack with a 10%** chance for a gold pack. I've earned packs after the first week, other times as long as 7 seasons go by with nothing.

**my estimate, the actual % is a secret.

So doing a challenge does not guarantee a pack? I was under the impression that doing a daily challenge will earn a standard pack?

Love more guidance on this?

You have a random of chance of getting a pack every time you earn an achievement. Play long enough and you get one, limited to one pack every 72 hours. You can get that pack right away or it can take "forever". Most people regurgitate the 1927 Yankees every time they play because you get about 20-25 achievements every season and all you have to do is endlessly press the continue button until you get the notification of earning the pack. It's a really stupid way of earning a pack, and I don't do it any more.

Thanks. I thought it was daily? 72 hours makes sense now.

It ought to be daily, considering they give away up to 10 packs a day just by watching twitch streams. The once every 72 hours thing hasn't changed since 2019 when it was the ONLY way to earn extra packs.
