Just thought it would be fun to have a thread to share amusing names that the player generator comes up with…

Just had a catcher come up in the draft named “Rich Chick”. I lol’d.

Not "funny" in itself, but in my fictional league the starting second baseman for one of my divisional rivals name is Owen Owens. That used to really bother me, because he's pretty good too so he's probably going to be around for a while. But then a couple weeks ago I watched a documentary where a cop was named David McDavid and then I remembered that parents like to do those kind of things to their kids IRL too.

I had an Xavier Xx. I thought this was a database error but looked it up and found this:

Xx Surname:

This surname is the result of people crossing out the box where they write their surname on census forms to indicate that they don't have a surname.
