Prospect Pipeline – side-by-side scout vs. OSA view?

Hi all,
Apologies if this has already been raised (I imagine I’m not the first to bump into it). I’ve been spending more time with the Prospect Pipeline screen and I keep finding it a bit harder to use than it probably should be.

On most other player list screens in the game you can at least order a player list say by OSA view, and then click your scouts view back and forth. That makes it easier to spot differences of opinion at a glance en masse and start asking further questions like
  • Why does my scout love this arm while OSA barely has him on the radar?
  • Is this just a “one tool spike” OSA guy?
  • Which players have really moved up or down since the last update?
On the Pipeline though, it feels like I’m stuck flipping back and forth between the views one player at a time because prospects are reordered via the drop-down box mechanism which instantly reorders the list by that view making it impossible to eyeball en masse changes. .

It seems like it would add a lot of practical value if the Prospect Pipeline could behave more like the other list views (where you can flick back and forth without changing order unless you click the column to do so )or has an:
  • Option to add both Scout and OSA columns side-by-side.
  • Maybe an indicator for rating differentials (like a small +/- or color shading).
  • Even a little “movement arrow” since last month’s list would help highlight interesting changes quickly.
Just thought I’d float the idea. If others have found good workarounds I’d be glad to hear them — but if not, maybe this is something that could be looked at down the line.

Finally, could we also get an option to filter by whether a prospect is on the Top 200 list. That would make it easy to create and then filter a list of potential targets when your owner wants you to build the farm obtain top prospects.

I have become very much addicted to this game; and whilst my baseball knowledge is poor, which can make it hard to quickly 'get why things are or are not happening' I still love it. Thankfully AI tools and apps are very good at answering my baseball questions, and whilst cumbersome to use in concert with the game, over time its building my knowledge base.
.
Its the one thing that is a shame about this game being an online competitive product, no one really wants to share their big time tips.. which I totally get... and it explains why so many posts are read, but not responded to.

But it does make the game just that little bit more impenetrable to baseball outsiders or newcomers like myself who have less than ZERO interest in playing against anyone else, much less in a competitive league and just would like to improve their own understanding, application and ultimately enjoyment of the game!

As I've banged on about previously, I think OOTP 26 is my 4th version of the product. The first 2 I don't reckon I would've sunk more than 60 hrs in combined across many years and attempts to get into it..

For some reason that changed in OOTP 25 and now I've sunk over 2700hrs in both 25 and 26 combined...and my other games have become almost completely unused...

I am already looking forward to OOTP 27, and we're only just now getting this version bedded down!
