Match Update 10/31/15
The results will come late - It's Halloween in the States.
Sincr I forgot to save my draft, I'm going to do a little scouting report on the opposing sides today. Starting with...
Wigan Athletic - Brighton and Hove Albion
Brighton and Hove has been around since 1901, and they're nicknamed the Seagulls and also The Albion. I wonder why they're called THE Albion there is one other team that has Albion on the top of my head and that's West Bromwich. Hmmm. Interesting. Anyways, the two sides have not met in the past three seasons, so it's going to be a first time of sorts for both teams. Brighton and Hove, even though they are in 2nd place, won't be there for long. I plan to beat them today. The top players on theor side aren't as good as my top three (Huntelaar, Sahin, Luis) but you never know. I wasn't expecting much from Ipswich but they put up a honorable fight.
That's it for now. I feel a headache coming on...
*****BREAKING NEWS*****
Zenit offered for Chelsea forward Loïc Remy...
Chelsea counter-offered for 16.5 million- I was trying to squeeze 18 mill For Remy but, I guess he is no Willian. Goodbye Remy
.
Cruz Azul - Monarca Morelia
The battle here wasn't good, and it wasn't bad either. The good news: We won. The bad news: Nothing, unless you consider that the opposing goalkeeper got the man of the match award.
1-0 Morelia.
Scoring Summary: Cejas 33'
NEXT MATCH: @ Independiente (Cup Match) 11/03/15
Wigan Athletic - Brighton and Hove Albion
Great match by the Lactics again, scoring both of their goals in the first half. Yan Sommer has still struggled with first half goals, but all in all, still gave up just one goal. This match brought us to 2nd in the league, even though it's still early. 2-1 Wigan.
Scoring Summary: Wigan: Honda 27' Weimann 36'
Brighton: Bong (PK) 40'
NEXT MATCH: @ Wolverhampton Wanderers 11/04/15
Chelsea - Valencia CF
The Blues barely survived this game. We kept it tied through the 1st half of the match, then Valencia broke the silence between the two teams, scoring 8 minutes after kickoff. Loïc Remy turned a loss into a tie, prompting me to cancel the transfer between the Blues and Zenit. So, what most Chelsea fans thought was going to be Remy's last game were wrong.
Scoring Summary: Chelsea - Remy 71'
Valencia - Perez 53'
NEXT MATCH - vs. Liverpool (Champions League Cup Game) 11/02/15
Finally! Now there is only going to be one offday! That's tomorrow, which is going to be less time for me to excercise my power with the teams' money!
