With Rangers at 55-78, rosters expand on September 1

Executive Manager Riley Payton had the following to say about the September roster expansion:
"We're going to play hard these final games and see if we can hold our own with the extra help from AAA. Our goal is not to have the first pick in the draft; I don't think that is important. We're aiming for 70 wins and also to not finish last in our division. We're also getting our starting center fielder Brock Davis back in a day or two. I think he can get back on track from injury and help us contribute."
