Dave Summers did not get the decision but he was excellent in Toronto's 3-1 win over the Orioles. Lawrence Leverett homered for the Jays. Concerning was John Valentin leaving with pain in his elbow. Lawrence Leverett's big home run clinched a 6-3 win for the Blue Jays over the Red Sox. But the win came at a big cost as both Willie McGee and Ricardo Gonzalez left the game with injuries.
