First time poster here and I have very much enjoyed this thread.
Concerning this unknown Cub's identity, Derek Botelho was suggested as a guess, but to me, rather than Botelho, it looks like longtime Cubs minor leaguer Ken Pryce, see here on his 1984 TCMA Iowa Cubs card.
