Thank you for all your hard work.
Awesome! Actually that is precisely why I created it. I did exactly the same thing as you (keeping the Expos and have them move into Parc Labatt in 2005). Let me know if you need any help with importing the model into the game.

I think I figured it out.. Extracted the files, put them in the Ballpark/Models folder.

I just need to know.. Do I need to do anything with the era_ballparks file?

Great Western Coliseum

If LA Memorial Coliseum and Great Western Forum had a child, this would be it! This is a fictional baseball-only stadium for Los Angeles. I took my favorite aesthetics from the parents and created the Great Western Coliseum. The Peristyle plaza and the olympic statues have to be front and center for sure. The new gigantic press box/Suite section (at the side of LA Memorial Coliseum) now sits on top of the main grandstands. The stadium also sports similar exterior columns as the Great Western Forum. The USC Trojans logo is placeholder and can be easily edited in the texture folder. Everything has a roman coliseum influence and fits quite nicely together. For anyone who has a fictional LA team and doesn't want to use Dodger Stadium or Angel Stadium, this is a good alternative.

Backward compatibility (for OOTP25 and prior versions) -- edit the transparent Scoreboard_left.png and Scoreboard_right.png files in the texture folder to have it cover up the dynamic scoreboard. I have included samples if you don't want to make your own. Just rename Scoreboard_left_sample.png and Scoreboard_right_sample.png accordingly.

For fictional purposes....when would you say the Great Western Coliseum opened?

Are you taking requests? You're Nat Bailey is awesome and BC Place is a cool adaptation, but I would love to see your take on a fictional MLB caliber stadium on the PNE grounds with a view of the North Shore mountains.

@Nutt Based on the design and structure, I would guess the stadium opened around 1999~2002 timeframe, but then it went through some upgrades (like the scoreboard, grandstand/press box areas, decks...etc) so it's up to today's standards.

@Pappy709 @Ktulu I'd love to try my hands on more of those concepts or fictional ideas. As usual, I have several more stadiums to build before I can think about these. I'll keep them in mind XD.

I think I am going to move the Angels to Great Western Coliseum in my current save in the 2040s. In my universe the stadium will be a joint venture of USC and the Angels. The Angels will rebrand to using USC colors in a bold new direction.

Stadio Nino Cavalli

So, I've been told that I'm missing an important stadium in Italy. I looked it up and sure found it worthwhile to add to the collection.

Stadio Nino Cavalli is named after Mr. Cavalli, a pioneer of baseball in the city of Parma. The construction of the ballpark has received a lot of support from the Italian Baseball Federation, Parma city officials, and even Federal President Aldo Notari in the 80s. Several upgrades also took place so Stadio Nino Cavalli was able to host major events like the European Baseball Championship, World Baseball Championships, and Olympic qualifiers. The main ballpark is surrounded by 3 additional fields that can be used for softball and amateur/junior baseball games. The entire "Quadrifoglio" complex is well developed and one of the very best in the country.

Since 2010, Stadio Nino Cavalli has been the official home of Parma Baseball (a professional club in the Italian League). The Italian National team also uses this field frequently. For such a prominent ballpark, I tried to do it justice by making the backdrop/environment as accurate as possible. I did not put any advertisement to keep things clean, but there are hidden placeholders: LF01~LF08 & RF01~RF08 in case anybody wants to add things to the outfield walls. I might do some custom signs if I ever use this ballpark in my own game.

Backward compatibility (for OOTP25 and prior versions) -- edit the transparent "Scoreboard_Static.png" in the texture folder to have it cover up the dynamic scoreboard. I have included a sample if you don't want to make your own.
