An inductee in the Pennsylvania boxing Hall of Fame Eddie Cool was a top-ranked lightweight throughout the 30s. He was, however, his own worst enemy. He loved to party and eschewed training getting by mainly on his own natural ability. Had he more than a desultory committment to training he might have reached the top.
