Imported leagues drop player origins
I did a test import of my 6.5 solo league into the new version. Most of it went fine, other than some odd newly generated players that I know how to work around. One odd issue that came up, though, was that every single one of the imported players had his country of origin changed to America. Is there any way for my players to retain their country of origin from the imported league?

mlyons,
Markus had the opportunity to review this issue. Unfortunately, there is not a way to support importing of the player origins right now. I think the best approach may be a workaround. You could export the rosters from OOTP 6. Then create your new league, export your rosters, update them with the correct origins, and reimport them. Mind you, I haven't tried that, it's theoretical at best. But, it seems like it should work, in lieu of a software fix. I'm sorry we weren't able to address this issue... |

Thanks for looking at it, at least. Honestly, if that ends up being the biggest problem with importing a league, I'll be content. Although I'm probably too lazy to actually change all the players' countries back manually. . .

I noticed the same thing and there's always the option of doing it by hand. Oh so fun.
