Injured DH bug
I've been simming half-innings frequently in the course of managing my games and have run into what I'm relatively sure is a bug several times. I hit Sim Half-Inning and the game jumps to the Roster screen as if a player has been injured during the course of the inning. I scroll down the list and my DH is injured. Another player is already dropped into his slot in the lineup, but his position is listed as "-" and there's simply no DH option in the pull-down menu. This effectively freezes the game as I can't move to any other screen without fixing the lineup, which I can't do without the DH option. Not sure if this is an issue specifically with simming the half-innings, a larger issue with DH injuries, or if I'm simply making a mistake. I'll post a screen-shot if I see it again. Thanks!

I'm trying to reproduce this bug, but having some problems. Basically, I'm upping my DH's inury proneness and running him through hell. No results though. Can't seem to injure the damn guy. Does anyone know which half of the injury proneness scale produces more injuries? Is 200 the most prone or is 1 the most prone?

I had this same issue. I had to CTRL-ALT-DEL to close the game because there was no other way out.
I'd like to see this addressed in the patch. My solution for now is to set it to save daily so if I run into it I don't lose as much progress - which is no solution at all. |

I have experienced this same issue. It's a definite bug because the only way to get out of it is to CTL-ALT-DEL as Exodor said.

This is a definite bug and I have experienced the same. I'll give a specific example of how it happened to me.
My DH hit a double, but was injured on the play. I had to replace him with a PR. At the end of the inning, it automatically brought me to my roster screen to replace him. Unfortunately I had the same '-'. I tried replacing him with another player and pitcher and even tried to move my current pitcher into the DH slot. No such luck. I tried clicking on all of the other tabs and nothing worked. On another note, I'm really enjoying the game guys. It is quite a learning curve, but I'm getting there. |
