Bug or Design?

I just finally finished my first season and I was looking through all the tertiary leagues well after all the seasons were over and there were NO news stories about who actually won the title. They all said when the playoffs were going to begin, but there was never anything news stories about who actually won. There were also two leagues that did have playoffs that did not show up in the league history.

I didn't even see any news about the MAJOR league, much less the minors... I don't think there's any playoff news at all.
