I've played 4 games manually. In all 4 a mystery man named "Davis" will record an out for my team.. Here is the thing though... I do not have a Davis, 1st, or last name on my team, nor is there a "Davis" on the opposing team's roster.
here is a example that goes like this... I'm using lahman's db imported in 1991 season Bonds hits a pop up to right field, (John Kurk, is my RF) Davis settles under it and makes the grab. This Davis guy in my next game caught a foul ball behind home plate. Is this a bug or do I have a really avid fan in Chicago who likes to run onto the field named Davis? |

Some have called him a ghost... you've called him a fan... I personally call him a beloved tenth fielder.....
![]() It was found and corrected in the xml text. |

This is corrected in patch, all you have to do is download the patch when it is released and install the patch.
At a minimum, there were two ghosts named Davis and Drysdale who have been excorcised from english.xml. Remember, the power of Battist compels you. |

Raidergoo,
I've been ignoring this Davis fellow (since I've been keeping up on his existence for days now) but I was wondering if the stats accumulated by Davis are credited to the appropriate fielder? No big deal if someone's assist totals on my AA team are a bit off, but I was just wondering. |

You may see one for Drysdale, if you are sharp eyed. That was corrected, too, I am reliably told. |
