Pitcher's Endurance

I was not sure if this has been reported yet.

I have seen the threads talking about far to many complete games and shutouts but I have been seen way to many pitchers that go 9, 10, 11 and 12 innings in one game. I am using the default settings for Pitcher Fatigue.

What year is your league in? What setting is your "pitcher endurance" at?

Apologies for the delay in responding to this.

Are you still seeing this issue? Have any others reported this? Just trying to gather some more information. Can you provide any data around how frequently this is happening for you?

Yes I am still seeing this. I simmed opening day in my Short A league and saw that one of the games went 23 innings. I looked at the box score, the starter lasted 4 innings (he got hurt) they put in another pitcher and he went 2 innings and the next pitcher went 12.1 innings. They have a full bullpen of 8 pitchers and used only 4 of them.

I checked out the stats of my AAA team and noticed that of the 8 different pitchers that have made starts, they ALL have at least 3 complete games with the team leader at 6......and this is only in early July.

My Major League starters are averaging 7.2 innings per start and 4 of the 5 starters have had at least 1 game where they pitched 9+ innings.

I am using an imported 6.5 league so I dont know if that is the root cause of the "rubber arm" pitchers.

No worries on the delay

Endurance and pitch counts is a major focus of patch 2.

What do you think of endurance now, especially for modern era pitching?

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.

This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this.

If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!)
