Lahman DB Import Problem

I started my league in 1901 and each year when rookies import to their initial teams, NYA and SLA don't get any rookies, their guys get dumped into the free agent pool.

How do I fix this? I have the proper team abbreavs. in place.

I'm so sorry the response to this issue is so late.

Can you tell me, are you still experiencing this problem?

The team abbreviations in OOTPB must identically match the team abbreviations in Lahman. For example, if OOTPB says "NYA" and Lahman says "NYY," then there will be a mismatch, and the players won't import correctly.

That would be my best guess.

NYA & SLA weren't teams in 1901...they both became teams later. You need to change their team abbreviations when they move before you import or the game isn't going to know where to put them.
