Also, no scroll bar on post seasons standings when there are more teams than will fit on a screen and 'strange' won-loss records of teams in playoffs in the schedule page where you manage/quick play??

Speaking of incorrect playoff formats, I sincerely hope something is done for the second patch that corrects the scenario that faces the Wild Card winner with its own divisional winner in the first round.
Teddible...just teddible.

I thought I would give this thread a bump, because this problem really bothers me. I realize there might be problems with greater numbers of leagues, but is there really no way to make it an option to restrict the Wild Card winner from playing its own divisional opponent int he first round? Seems like a must when you're playing a three divisional format.

Wild Card Issue
For some reason the game is not recognizing teams in the same division should not be playing each other in the first round of the playoffs.
In other words OAK vs TEX Oakland was the AL West winner, Texas was the wild card, and they played each other in the first round... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Just for the record if this is fixed, I hope there is a check box for people who are fine with two teams in the division playing each other first (I think its a stupid MLB rule anyway).

This was an issue in v6 and was either fixed in 6.12 or 6.5, but apparently the rules have been forgotten.

Playoffs Issue
I've noticed this in previous versions, but figured it would be fixed. However, since it hasn't I thought I'd say something.
In MLB since the advent of the Wild Card, the WC team cannot face in the first round of the playoffs, a team from the same division. The last four seasons I've played, I've won the division with another team in my division being the WC winner. Every time, I have played them in the first round of the playoffs. This should be fixed. Thanks!! |

Wildcard in playoffs
Anyone else notice that the wildcard tea will still play the best team in a given league even if both teams are in the same division?

I'm pretty sure that problem is to be fixed in the next patch.
