Unable to remove from active roster
I have a complex league system set up with a 25 man active roster and a 40-man roster. Some of my players are unperforming and I wish to swap them for other players on the 40-man roster. When I right click the player I want to demote from the active roster there is no option to remove him from the active roster.
Is this a bug, or am I missing something? |

I don't know for sure. If the players are out of options (correct word I think?) you have to place them on waivers first... then can move them to DFA so you can promote others right away. Once clearing waivers you can demote them to the minors.
That is if you have all that turned on, and don't know all that already. Otherwise I haven't a clue and someone else might have better help. ![]() |

There is no "remove from active roster" but you can demote them to the minors as long as they still have option years left. If not, they must be placed on waivers and designated for assignment.
Do you even have minors, or just a 40-man roster? I'm not familiar with how you would need to run things if you only have the 25 active players and nowhere for the other 15 on your 40-man roster to play. |

Ok. I think this has cleared things up. I do have minors, which is where the extra 15 play. I'll use the waiver / DFA system. Thanks.
