I don't understand all the CTDs......
Note: I own a PC version of OOTPB2006
I have owned the game since day one and I have yet to CTD. Something tells me that it could be a few different things and not just a OOTPB2006 problem. It could be; *software conflicts (ootpb should be ran with all OS's updated) *system memory issues (not enough RAM possibly or possibly a memory leak) *system requirments aren't being met (many people take this for granted) *when the game was installed maybe it was installed while an anti-virus was running *anti-virus/spyware or firewalls possibly causing CTD if they are running when game is being played *possibilty of many programs running at the same time (check task manager) *possible trojan or virus running in backround (you may say that you never had problems before ootpb2006 but a lot of trojans do not show it's head until a program is running that utilizes the folders resources) |

To be honest, thus far I think I've only created CTDs when doing things the game didn't intend for me to do, like make 2-team draft leagues or, apparently, conduct transactions with a team and then contract it during the same preseason. It would be slightly nice if the game told me I couldn't do this instead of suddenly dying, but all in all I'm pretty satisfied.
I certainly haven't experienced any of this random CTD stuff some have been talking about. I'm using McAfee and have a gig of RAM and about 30 gigs of hard drive space left on my 120-gig drive. Not a terribly high-end system, and I really am feeling the play-by-play crunch, but it really doesn't crash at all when I don't make it do so. |

Let's see if patch 2 makes it more stable.
