PbP glitch

Had this happen in a game I played earlier tonight.

"rapped hard to short"
"Suzuki appears to have a good bead on it"

The problem is that Suzuki is the Rightfielder.

Is that word for word accurate? These things can be quite tiresome to track down in english.xml.

I shall look.

The closest I could locate was object ID 14258
="[%game fielder] appears to have a bead on it..." only_once_per_x2="1"

Everything specifically calling [rightfield] is in the flyball to right category. And none of those "appears to".

I wrote it down as it appeared in the game screen.

Cork, do you recall, did this problem occur with the patched version of the game, or the pre-patched version?

There was a bug in the original release where the sides of the field were reversed, so that a ball that was actually headed to right said "to short"...

That should be fixed now. Meanwhile, please let us know if you see this or something similar again.

Since we haven't been able to replicate this, and haven't gotten more information, I'm going to move this to closed/claimed fixed. Please feel free to post a new thread if any issue comes up!

Thanks,

Steve
