Foreign player limit problem (or maybe a misunderstanding) - Page 2

There's No Limit, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Why is there not an option for zero? I don't think the Cuban league allows any foreigners, and even if it does, there should still be an option to have a zero foreign players limit so that no foreigners are allowed.

Agreed, though that's a suggestion, and not really a bug. The bug is that the foreign player limits aren't working at all at the moment, and so the lack of an option for zero foreign players isn't the thing that's holding us back at the moment:

The problem is the game is using the individual position player/pitcher limits to override the overall setting. So if you set that to 4 or whatever, but leave the player/pitcher limits to "no limits," it ignores the other.

I posted about this issue when I noticed it in my Japanese league where I set the limit to 4, but both pos. player and pitcher to 3 so they had have at least one of both to use all 4 spots. Instead they got 3 of each. (battists responded to my thread pointing out it was an issue.)

At the moment you have to set individual limits for it to work properly.

I merged a few related threads. This is still TT # 1938, and has been claimed fixed in Patch 2, although it has not yet been verified.

It seems that the issue with the game not obeying the limits has been resolved (1938). I'm going to close this thread.

I'm aware there are also discussions about a limit of 0 and so forth, but those are being covered in separate threads/TT #s, I believe.
