Update on fatigue problem with patch 1.02

With patch 1.01 and I control everthing. If a player got tire the AI would replace him with a sub so he could get rest. I am 43 games into my new season and I have all the depth charts set with the 1st sub set to replace a player when he is tired. I have 5 player who have been totally exhausted for over a week now and the lineups never change. What am I doing wrong. I used the same setting with the first patch and the AI made all the substitutions based on who tired a player was.

Update on fatigue problem with patch 1.02

As I reported before my position players are not being subbed for when the become totaly exhausted. The pitchers are being handled right. I have the AI handling the lineups and depth charts but no matter what I do the AI will not replace players that are exhausted.

Targy,

Do you think you could post your league file somehwere for Markus to download? Also, please show and point out some "specific" cases where this occurred within your league. For Markus to be able to locate and fix this, it would be best to pinpoint the issue as it's occuring.

How do I post a league file, and one mmore question. Does a team doctor with a fatigue rating of 32 make a difference. There are no doctors with a higher rating. Does the Doctor rest the players when tired. Please tell me where to upload my file

Zip and send the .dat files from your league file to markus.heinsohn@sigames.com. You'll find your league file inside the Program Files\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2006\Data\saved_games folder.

BUT Please post here exactly what you want Markus to view in the game in order to verify your issue. (i.e. "please see so-and-so from such and such team and then look at the lineup on July 10th...")

Afterwhich, I'll TT this.

I will send my league dat file to Markus...Markus look at the lineups for the month of May. Reggie Smith is totally exhausted and has been for a while now. My depth charts are set correctly but he has not been rested with any subs. Neither has anyother player as you will see from the lineups from the month of May. This has only happened since patch 1.02 before the it worked fine.

Targy,

I understand from another thread that you may be using 1.0.1 because you had another issue with 1.0.2. However, in most cases it's going to be difficult for us to isolate any problems with 1.0.1, because the code base has changed dramatically since then.

That said, are you playing out your games, or auto-playing?

Thanks!

Steve

Markus located the problem and let me know that in 1.02 if you are managing each game the lineups will not change anymore, I will have to make all the changes with tired players which is how I am playing now and I really enjoy having to make a little more decisions on my lineup...Thank you all for the help and this game keeps getting better all the time, I am so glad that I have been a loyal OOTp player since the first edition came out. As you can see i also have been on this site since 2002. Keep up the good work and I look foward to all the future OOTP's 2007 and beyond
