Mcs, Macs, and O's...

I have noticed the problem with Mcs, Macs, and O's has continued post-patch...

But only for fictional leagues from scratch.

I started a new league from the MAL Quickstart supplied with the download, and all of my Mcs, Macs, etc. seem to be fine.

Is there a reason for this? Were the quickstart rosters edited? Curious.

I believe the issue does not affect US Mcs Macs and Os, it's only players from other countries. This would explain why the issue persists after the patch, but not for the MAL quickstart.

Also, once you have created a league, it will not use a new nameset, so if you're using a league created pre-patch, it will not be taking advantage of the new names files.

Created this same league (or very similar) both pre- and post-patch. Same problem both times.

This may require a new quickstart be used for the distro. I'll alert Marc.

Any chance the other country's name lists can be updated? Aside from doing it individually of course?

We're working on that, although it's not a 100% lock to make it in, with other, higher priorities going on.
