Did I mess something up somehow!?

After applying the patch and creating a new league, when I go to my teams Transactions window I cannot see/choose the waivers and DFA panels?

I don't think I farked it up, but perhaps I did. Any ideas?

Did you enable the waiver and DFA rules in league setup?

I've got the same problem with a league based on a 1986 Lahman import.

I've got two players I claimed off waivers that are sitting on my inacessable DFA list.

Any clues how I can retrieve my players from limbo?

If you search for the player and bring up their "card" you can use the "action" button to place them on your 40 man roster or put them on your active roster.

Doesn't explain the missing DFA list, but at least I won't lose my players after three days.

Obviously i should have said that I used lahmanDb to import 1998. I'll try a regular league after work today to see if this issue happens there as well.

Yeah, I figured out after about 30 min that I can right click on player name and assign them. Still though, seems like something has gone messy.

Ok, so you imported from Lahman. When you did this did you enable the secondary (40 man) roster size? By default on an imported season it is disabled.

Only when you do this do you get the waiver and DFA options to appear along with the rule 5 and minor league free agency. It is here you set the time for each option ala 10 day DFA and 3 day Waivers.

The thing that troubles me if you didn't set these up is why you would still be able to right click to move anyone and how anyone could get on the list it it's not enabled?

Of course this is all mute it you did set up the dfa and waiver options, so did you?

I know I forgot to set the option for waivers and the 40-man roster when I created my league, but I turned both on right after the import.

Obviously the game thinks I have a DFA, since it assigned Concepcion and Ontiveros to that inaccessable list.

Honestly I can't say for sure right now. When I get home this evening I'll double check. I do know that I was going thorugh settings and doublechecking everything.

Ok, it would seem that I didn't enable them, so it was obviously my mistake. I haven't tried creating another historical league, but I did create a fictional Canadian League and all the panels are accessible.

Turns out it was me who messed up. What a surprise.

Easy thing to miss. I wouldn't have known how it worked in historical except I was visiting my son and he d'loaded the demo to try. He wanted real players so I told him about Lahman and helped him set up a league.

My guess, and it's only a guess it your trouble started by not enabling the roster rules at setup. I did try to replicate this by creating a Lahman import season and start without the roster rules. I ended up with no waivers or dfa options like the original poster.

I then enabled the rules and boxes appeared and the AI filled the 40 man rosters and put guys on waivers and dfa. I then went to the team I was controlling and wasable to move players like normal. So I was not able to reproduce your
problem.

My test was done from scratch with the patched version. Was yours also or was your game created in the unpatched original version? Have you tried to recreate the error doing the same setup as before?

If you can recreate the error and post here others could try it to see if they got the same results and it could be fixed in the next patch.

Apologies for the very late arrival to this party. I'd really like to help make sure this issue is resolved, but Sweed is right in that we'd really be helped a lot if we could figure out some precise steps that make the problem occur.

Any thoughts out there?
