New Menu Bug or Corruption

I don't know what has happened or what I might have done to cause the problem, but suddenly the game has become pretty much unplayable for me.

On all my team screens with the drop down menus (Roster, Pitching, Lineup, Depth Charts) there was a sudden shift that must have occurred. Now the Scouting drop down menu button sits over the Splits menu. You can see the edge of the splits button jutting out to the right beneath the scouting button.

The effect is that only the splits drop down shows when you press the combined menus button, meaning I can no longer change the scout choices and am presently locked into the SISA scout view. That's, of course, bad.

What's happened here and what can I do to fix it? I'm not aware of anything I did to create this change; it had been working fine up until now. I've tried quitting and restarting the game; I've even tried restarting my computer. Nothing has worked.

Please help. I was reveling in my league play and have been jolted back to having to get some work done (since I can't play without my scout views). I'd rather play.

I found the problem. It relates to a custom view I was using which combined some ratings columns with some stats columns. When you do that, the game apparently forces the scout screen to ride on top of the splits screen. To solve the problem I simply switched the view to one of the standard rating views in order to change my scout. Markus might want to look at this though -- custom views are a powerful tool, but apparently they can cause some formatting problems.

So, what is the combination to avoid? (Assuming it's as simplistic as a single combination of columns.)

I don't know if it's as simple as that in oder to prevent it. The only issue is that you can't change who's scouting in that screen. The work-around would be to change to a default screen, select who you want to scout, and then go back to your custom screen.

If you can give us a specific set of steps that can fubar this thing, we can take a look at tweaking some things...
