Free Agent contract offer problem

Hello all,

I have the patch installed.

I was trying to sign a couple of Free Agents to my team, and I had about 18 mil to spend, so I offered a few players contracts. The problem is that I never heard anything from them--no confirmation that they received my offer or anything of the sort. They are no where on any of my roster lists or waiting for assignment.

On top of it all, financially the game is acting as if the contracts are still out there--my payroll has not changed, but the 18 mil that I had to offer has dwindled to under one mil, and so I can't go sign anyone else. I also can't find the players in the free agent list, and if they got signed by another team, I should have my money to go sign some players.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Frying Dutchman,

We're terribly sorry for the slow response to your post.

Can you tell me, is it possible that you were the commissioner, and using the "Act As" drop-down to control a certain team? If so, this could probably be the cause of the problem, since "Acting As" doesn't give you full control of the team.

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.

This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this.
