Received a Trade Offer on 9/5

I have patched and this still happened. I was offered a trade by an A.I. run major team on 9/5, which is well after the July 31st non-waiver trade deadline (which is in place in my universe) and past the August 31st waiver trade deadline. This probably needs to be fixed.

Maybe. I'm more interested in what happens if you accept the trade offer. Does the trade get completed? or do the players run through waivers? Does anybody get claimed? etc.

In MLB the August 31st deadline only has to do with playoff rosters. Trades can still be made in September, the players just aren't eligible for the playoffs.

I apologize for the long delay in responding to this thread.

As Fidel and Stu indicated, this doesn't appear to be a bug, per se, unless there was some issue with outcome of the trade. But, teams are still allowed to complete trades in September, although it should be a very rare occurrence.

Please let us know if you have any additional thoughts.

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
