Spring Training News Notice
I'm not 100% certain this happened the way I remember it. Hence, I'm asking someone to watch for it - if they have a similar setup or willing to check it out creating one.
I have two ML parent leagues in the universe, GMing a team in one. I use the Continue button for daily progress and check both Manager News and League News (the latter switching between the two ML parent leagues). I have my Manager News set on Entire World. Pushing the button day by day, I took note that CPL was starting their Spring Training (that's the other league) and wondered why mine wasn't. Continued on a few more days and looked again at the news, both screens, still wondering what happened to my Spring Training. Finally, I went to my team's page and saw - in the upper left hand corner - the words Spring Training in the header. Went back to my news and the league news for the league and now the news was there (same day) as the CPL announcement. I really don't think it ever was until I switched screens and returned to these pages. The result was my team was something like 5 games into ST and I didn't even have a clue it occured. Something systemic in this, whether it's the fact that no message or phase pop-up occurs to make sure you're aware of the next phase (ala 6.5 and prior) or the screen change affect 'sticks' that we'd noticed in earlier builds. Welcoming all thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

endgame,
Any chance that you saved this league as a template? I'm wondering if you could recreate the same league (or sim through to next season), and watch it more closely the next time around. If you can make the problem happen again, please let us know the exact settings of your league, and we can try to get this fixed! Steve |

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
