Found a bug, not sure if its fixed yet.

I am currently simming a historical sim using Lahmans database. The league started in 1961. After a few seasons I adjusted the schedules so that the short season and rookie leagues did not start on the same day as the other leagues, but started in June after the Amateur Draft like it is in real life.

My problem is that I still had the all star game checked so that when May 4th rolled around, the Rookie League tried to hold an All Star game, but there were no players available so I got an error stating the Sub League 2 had no pitcher, the error crashed the game. I have saved the game after May 3rd was simmed and have tried filling the league with minor league players, but no luck. The game still insists on holding the SL2 all star game on May 4th even though I have unchecked All Star game in League setup and the league does not start until June 20th, 5 days after the draft..

I nkwo I could have fixed the problem if I had identified it earlier, but now I am screwed which is too bad as I am 7 years into the league.

Play the game in windows, keep the 350 pg. game guide open as well. It will be easier to learn the game that way.

*Note, I was able to go into schedule editor and delete this game.

This needs to be addressed. Rookie League and short season leagues do not start until after the Jne Draft in real life.

Schedule changes can only be done during the pre-season period; that's the only time when the changes input will stick. If your season is already underway or if it's after the pre-season period it's too late to get the changes registered for the current year. Note that depending on when your league is set to start its pre-season period will be different from that of other leagues.

I did manage to go into the schedule editor and delete the all star game and was able to continue after I did that.

Hi guys, sorry to join this party so late.

I'm sorry, but schedules make me go crosseyed. Can someone explain to me in very simple terms if there still is an actual issue here, and what we should do to resolve it?

Thanks very much,

Steve

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.

This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this.

If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!)
