Constant crashes

Forgive me if this issue has been addressed, but I haven't found a crash thread which addresses this problem. Any time I try to access my team, red messages, sim a game, or do anything with the game, I get a message that ootp2006.exe has experienced a problem and needs to close. I've also noticed that my rosters have been corrupted and now only have a few players. The program worked when I was running 1.0.0, but I've had this problem since installing the 1.0.1 patch, and the program is now useless as a result.

I'm running Windows XP sp2 on an AMD Athlon XP 2800+ computer with 2.08 GHz and 448 MB RAM.

Hi there, and so sorry for the slow response.

Well, my first suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall the game. Download a fresh copy from here:

A number of crashes should be fixed with the upcoming patch #2, but for now, why don't you try that and let me know how it goes?

If it still crashes, we'd love to get hold of your game file and we have an FTP space for you to upload it.

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.

This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this.
