Schedule gone

Hello,
I have some problems uploading the .dat files.
Just want to know about one thing first, though.
If my team schedule all disappeared, does it mean the game data is corrupted and I have to start all over again?

Well, first, please try with the brand new patch from today.

Next, if there's some issue with the schedule, please create a new thread about it. We'll take it from there!

I am still crashing. RBF.lg.zip. Go to Archangelsk team transactions page and it will always crash.

Can't play this league anymore so please help.

I don't know what's wrong but there is definitely something wrong with my team roster. When I applied the new patch players that I had not offered contracts to were signed for ridiculous sums and long terms (for 38+ year old players). I tried to rescind the contracts but something must not be right with some of the contracts. Please, help me figure out what the problem is and what can be done to continue.

File is RBF.lg.zip. Team is Archangelsk.

I've tried manually removing everyone on the major league roster from the team but the game still crashes when I go to the transactions page. I CAN access the transactions page from the minor league team (only have one level).

Crusnak:

1. Are you referring to the patch released today, or yesterday?2

2. Do you have a copy of your league .dat files from before you applied either patch?

1. Today.

2. I have older ones but not just prior (as in quite a few seasons and league structure changed since then). Stupid me.

I've uploaded my .dat files.
Please ignore satanic.zip (incomplete file) and open satanic2.zip
As I have said in the previous posts, my schedules vanished due to a crash, after applying the patch.

By the way, where do I downlod the "quick-fix"? I'll download it and see if my schedules come back up (which I doubt will).

Some more info on RBF. I went to the Archangelsk minor league page. Was able to go to the transactions page. I clicked on Transactions log. Changed affiliated team back to Archangelsk. The major league transactions log page showed up with no errors. Of the 5 tabs on team transactions (overview, disabled list, minors, waivers & DFA, and transactions log) only overview and waivers & DFA crash. This leads me to believe the problem is with a player DFA. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out what player would be causing it.

Also, if you look on the Archangelsk transactions log page you can see on Nov 8 the two unsolicitated free agent signings made that I never offered. Daniev was removed from the team by using the player editor, Josnivksy remains but was edited to a 1 year deal.

I've figured it out...and this may lead to other roster problems. Daniev, the player that was given a 3 year 4.8 mil contract (reduced salaries by a factor of 10 so an equivalent contract to MLB of 48 million), is a 40 year old player with an OR around 45/80. Obviously, not an offer anyone would make (and he was asking for a minor league contract). The problem ocurred when I tried to remove the player from the team using the editor. I never removed him from DFA status but was no longer on the team. This caused a crash everytime I went to the transactions page. I brought him back to the team (with a minor league contract) and there were no more crashes.

Not sure why these players were offered contracts that I never offered (happened right after the patch yesterday) but there definitely is a roster issue associated with DFA players.

No more crashes! Thank you! It looks like it took longer for me to complain about and report the bug than it took you guys to fix it -- call the Guinness Book people!

You can delete the George.Zip file, and stop calling me "Shirley"...

Okay, I figured out why the schedules were gone.
My game went all the way from 2008 March back to 2007 December, after the crash.
The funny thing is, I get to see my transaction log...I signed Adam Dunn as a free agent twice...once in Feb 2008 (prior crash) and once in March 2008 (post crash).
Hope this doesn't cause further logical problem...

Edit: I'll finish making the roster moves and see if the newest patch works out after the regular season starts.
