ugh... minors & 40 man roster

I'm playing 1.0.2.12258 which I hope is the latest patch.

Started a new savegame using an historical database to start an MLB 2006 league with all minors. Started the game, still on 1/1/06, edited all of the minor leagues to correct club names and team affiliations. But when I went to the transactions tab to look at the 40 man rosters it seems as if the players have remained wherever they were HOWEVER their affiliations have changed.

For example, Tim Wakefield appears in the 40-man roster for Boston as a AAA player, however when you open his profile it says he is a Colorado Springs Sky Sox and property of Colorado. Wakefield doesn't appear on Boston's AAA tab in the transactions screen and does appear in Colorados, but he's not on Colorado's 40 man roster!

This seems to have happened for the entire league - help!

dola,

I should add I did this before on earlier versions and there were no problems with players ending up with different organizations after changing minor league club affiliations through the game setup screens.

It's doing it with the xxx60 patch as well after a game has been created. I was messing around with different settings & tried to start something with the 40 man rule off. All it did was swap all the players on the whole AAA teams of the affiliations I switched!

Going to see if you edit it before the Jan 1 start date if the minors are messed up!

Of course, since you posted another patch has come out, so I have to ask - is this still misbehaving in the 12262 patch?

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.

Well, it's been a long time since I've been to this thread.

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue with the final patch. Are you still seeing this issue? If so, are you seeing it with leagues that were created in 1.0.3? Or are these all older leagues?
