I downloaded ArodGarlon's career average database today and would like to confirm something... I hope someone can help :-).
I'm looking at changing the debut years for some players and found out that OOTP needs batting/pitching stats to match the year to debut. I also know that players do not retire after their last stat year... so my question is: If I change a debut year and than go to the stats sheet and change the first stat year... can I just delete the rest of the stat year for the player? So I would only have 1 stat year for every player. I think it should be fine as it is the career avg. database so all the years are the same anyhow... can someone confirm this for me? Thanks |

OOTP looks at the rest of a player's career when assigning talent ratings. If you only have one season's worth of stats for each player u may run into some problems.
All players in our DB debut in their first full season of play. Why do you want to change player debut years? |
