External browser not opening

Maybe this is something I'm not doing, but the browser doesn't open-- I have reset IE 7 as my default browser. Anything else I should check?

Just a quick check. Load the game and select Game Preferences. In display mode set it for "windowed". Go into your game and try again to open using external browser. I'm wondering if you have it set to "full screen" mode and you may just be missing the newly opened screen by mistake.

My display was set to Windowed all along. Could this have anything to do with screen resolution? I set it to 1680x1050....

This one's new to me. Shot in the dark, but do you have any kind of pop-up blockers installed? I wonder if it's getting treated as a pop-up window...

I've turned them off-- haven't yet rebooted since, so maybe I should try that. Having fun wit the game otherwise--

You might have to give OOTP permission to display popup pages, you can set that up like others have described above. Plus IE 7 might ask if you want to allow it with the yellow bar across the top of your IE browswer as well.

I know mine works, but I also allow OOTP to use their own browser to popup within the game itself.

We have a rule in Tech Support that says that requests that have gone more than 3 days awaiting a response from the customer will be closed. This thread fits that bill, so I'm going to go ahead and marked this issue as "closed."

If you disagree, please let us know, it's no problem to re-open this. It's an administrative thing we do to try to ensure that only active issues are being researched.
