Perfect Game

I started a historical league in 1901 and took over the Chicago Cub franchise. I started the league with players on their original teams and then will hold future drafts and let players go where they may.

Anyway, I was simming some games and on May 22, 1901 against my Chicago team, Al Orth of the Philadelphia Phillles pitched a perfect game. The first one of these I have seen.

I tried to go back later to retreive the box score but it seems to be lost. I can now only find it in Al Orth's Player history page.

Anyone else seen one of these?

I'm starting in the same year, did an inaugural draft, and took Al Orth as my first pitcher. He's been awful. I don't have an answer to your question; I just wanted to vent. All of my boxscores where he's given up eight runs in six innings are exactly where they are supposed to be.

Dumb question, but are any other boxscores missing?

In my league, Al Orth ended the 1901 season with a 22-13 record. The Phillies took the national league and won the world series. He's 7-9 so far in 1902.

I can't seem to find any box scores from 1901. Guess it's time to print out the manual and look it over in case I am missing something. Just basically jumped in and started a couple leagues.

So far am having fun with the game, though of course my team isn't doing to hot.

Make sure that you check the game setup/global setup screen before you fell an entire forest printing out the manual. Under "Auto-save and log options" make sure you have "Save boxscores" set to all leagues or at least human leagues so it will hold onto either all boxscores or just the ones from the league you are controlling a team in.
