Game year does not match sim year
I've got a weird bug going. Upon starting a league in 1901, the auto-sim menu offers to take me to 2007 for opening day 1901. And if I sim a few months ahead, it sure goes right through 1901 without doing anything! If I manually create a fictional schedule, it will play through 1901, then I have to manually create another one the next year and as it starts playing through 1902, it saves all the stats under 1901. So players have 300 games played in their 1901 stat line but none for 1902.
So I decide to re-load the world template and try again, this time setting all the league settings to begin in 2007. I change the league start date to 2007 and it updates every field I can find in the individual league options. Cool, looks like a go! Not quite, though. This time, the autosim menu again offers to take me to 1901 opening day, occuring in 2007. Games get played this time, but the menus still say 1901. Stats save correctly as 2007 stats on player pages. I'm going to sim to next season and see what happens. Last edited by Prodigal Son; 04-01-2007 at 12:00 PM. |
