historical bambino??? plz read

Do i have to change him to LF? I am using lahman database, and just finished simming 1916...he is still listed as a MR and has no Major league experience at all..should I change his pos or will the computer do it?

If you have the settings to rate them each year, then it will do it automatically, but some people have been doing it early.... I think he changes in 1918 in the game...

I did it automatically...the Babe is tearing it up. It's funny though b/c as a SP, the Red Sox released him in 1914, and I stopped my sim in 1916 only to see him sitting in the FA pool...so I took hold of the Sox, signed him to one-year, then he changed to 1B two years later and he's a superstar for them lol.

If your playing with player recalc off ,I'd be curious to see how Babe does in his career.

For me, he played for 4 years as a pitcher (going 23-23 3.11 in the majors, and 15-3 1.67 in the minors) before switiching to outfield for 5 years. (CEI took him out after 127 HR's). [note: i only have 1 level of minors, and all the years were with 1 organization.]
