Willing to bet this is a bug
Started a small league...going pretty well. Decided to add a minor league level 6 years in and the first year things went well. Came time for the 2nd year of this new minor league (winter league) and no schedule generated no games played. I checked the tech support forum and didn't see anything regarding it...has anyone else run into it? It has kinda killed my solo league so Im wondering if I should ignore it and proceed or restart the league.

Might be sounding stupid here, but two questions. Are you saying the first year of the minors went fine, schedule and all? When you look at this year's schedule, you are looking at the start date of the winter league and not just the opening schedule page, right?

The first year went fine...schedule and all. The only issue I had were the other 7 members of the league not keeping enough players in the winter league (about midseason) so I had to use to commish to keep levels correct. The winter league was scheduled to begin play again 1 december. 5 december rolled around before I noticed that it had not begun. I looked and sure enough..no scheduled games. I checked to the setup and its listed as begining 1 december 1906. I changed that to 1907 (as well as the start date) and still no scheduled games. In the grand scheme of things if I have to restart from the beginning, its not that big of a deal. I have learned alot about the game from this league. But I have allowed my self to become immersed in my franchise (6 out of 7 possible last place finishes!!!)attempting to right their ship. |

asurob, if the patch doesn't do the job, since you were planning to scrap that league anyway, would you please try something? Sim to the offseason (if that doesn't work, to the preseason) of your winter league and try hitting 'generate schedule'. If that does nothing, try 'import schedule' and import the schedule you used the one time it worked.

I have a feeling since the start date of the league was not correct it didn't generate a schedule. When you changed the date, it would not automatically generate a schedule. You'd have to manually generate one at that point.
From then on, as long as the start date was correct, if should be generating a schedule.
