System resources not released after game exitted
After exporting via FTP to my online league, i exit the game.
It saves the game, and the program is off (the process has ended). However, svchost.exe is still using 98-99% of CPU time, and is holding about 90MB RAM. It continued at this for a few minutes unchanged until I finally killed the process. Running on Windows XP Pro all recent updates installed, 1GB RAM. Symantec anti-virus has an exception to not check the league save location. |

svchost is a generic process that is used by a lot of different windows processes. It's possible that a piece of OOTP is using it, but I don't think it's too likely.

It's not OOTP, because OOTP doesn't start anything using the svchost.
It's probably the MS Index Service, which enables full text search on your computer? When it's enabled (AFAIK it is enabled by default) it will scan your drives for files which can be added to the fulltext search index. HTML files and TXT files for example. OOTP generates a lot of them... |

Makes sense.
It was the first time I was using the 96-team league with 2 levels of minors. Is there any way to disable that? |
