teams have no coaching staffs

Ok, after I've tried this three times and gotten the same results each time. I've created a template to mimic the structure of modern MLB, including Japanese and Mexican Leagues and some independent U.S. leagues. When I start the game, major league teams start with no coaching staffs. Minor league teams all have staff; independent and international league teams do too, for the most part, although a lot of U.S. independent minor league teams have no GMs.

As you can see, coaches are turned on. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Can anyone help me? The major leagues are historical (2005), template was created over a period of days. Anyone else had a problem like this? Am I going to have to recreate 4 levels of minor leagues?

i'm having the same problem actually. i just created a fictional person for each position, and am assuming the computer will sign them.

i've got bigger problems at the moment though; i posted it elsewhere, but my game is repeatedly crashing on the same day.

Sixto, were you able to figure out the problem? If not, I'll have to log this and have you send Markus the .dat files since I have no idea what the problem could be.

I haven't figured it out. I conjectured that it had something to do with creating a historical league in the wizard, then going into advanced mode to add other leagues, then saving it as a template and closing the game, then returning to it before launching a new game. If anyone has a couple minutes to duplicate those circumstances (I'm at work) and wants to see if that causes this issue, that might be a good thing to prove or rule out.
