Getting Error
Our league is making the coversion to 2007, downloaded the file, went to open it, and am getting the following error....
"The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version". Am also getting this error when I open the default game. Any help would be appreciated. Last edited by RGalley22; 05-17-2007 at 04:25 PM. |

Which version of the game is your league currently running? 2006? 6.x?

Running 6.5.....
When I have the 2007 game open, it gives me that error when I try to open the league file, or even the default game; but when I click on start a new game, the database works fine and it wants to start a new game. |

Are you the one who is supposed to convert the league, or did someone else convert it and you are simply trying to play it?
If the latter, my guess is that you are probably using a different version than the person who converted the file. Can you ask him what version he is using and then compare it to yours? Likely, you have patched more recently than he did. The default game problem is a new one. Which version are you using? |

I am using the new game, no patch. Bought it 4/17/07. I am just trying to use the software for our league. Our commisioner converted the league, and it looks like I may be the only having trouble.
I am wondering if I could have corrupted something when I was trying to download the new 2007 file, I had the wrong path at first. |

He is using the 2007 version, with the new patch 2.0.2.5 it sounds like. I am going to uninstall the game, reinstall, download the new patch, and see what I get.
When I reinstall, wil I get charged for the game again? |

No, you won't. You can use the same code that you already purchased. You shouldn't even have to re-enter it. It should work automatically.
