Question: Historical Database used in a Fictional League?
If this question is answered elsewhere, I apologize. I am new to the board, and relatively new to the game.
Is it possible to create a fictional league to be started in 1876 (or thereabouts) but use the Lahman database for the players, rather than the fictional players? I would like to start a league in 1876 but with actual, historical players rather than the players the game creates when you begin a fictional league. Is this at all possible? |

Get a quickstart or template from one of these ootp-mod sites: http://web.mac.com/sixwilsons/iWeb/OOTPMods/Main.html http://www.ootpmodsquad.com/ or just start your league in 1870 with weak players, and let the historical players have to earn a spot on the 15 man roster from a unknown hayseed..... I would also suggest using one of the mod databases (gambo's or arod/garlon) instead of the Lahman.
