Interleague play

I asked this on the general discussion board. My team is set up with 1 league, 2 subdivisions, 3 divisions. I have interleague checked in game setup. I am managing one team and playing all 162 games. I am 1/4 way in and wondered when I was going to start to play my interleage games. I looked at my team schedule and there are no interleague games scheduled. Someone on the discussion board explained that not only will I not have interleague play enabled but I would have had to use a template to have it work. Am I missing something? Where in the 532 page manual did I miss that?

My understanding is that it's an issue in the program which generates the schedule for a league.

Certain league alignments are likely going to cause problems when it comes to creating a schedule with sensible interleague game. What's the setup of the league you're running?

I think I stated that above, unless your asking for something else. My setup is as above.

You left out the number of teams in each division though.

The only general tip I can offer is that the closer your league is to the structure of MLB now or in the past, the easier it is to get realistic schedules because you can import a historical schedule to use.

I have 4 teams in each Division, 3 Divisions so a total of 12 each subdivision. 24 total for the League.

Thanks,

I suppose that the answer is that certain league alignments don't support interleague play. I don't know which do and which don't, but apparently yours doesn't, as there isn't anything else to the setup beyond selecting interleague play.
