Fielders and baserunners randomly disappearing from SION Broadcast screen.
I'm in the fourth year of my solo fictional league and since the second year I have repeatedly encountered a strange glitch when playing out games. Occasionally, a baserunner or fielder position will not be displayed on the SION Broadcast screen. For example, instead of the shortstop being displayed, there will be as if no player is there. A blank space. This occurs for both teams, remains even if a substitution is made, and invariably lasts the entire game.
Note that this doesn't affect actual play, the game still remembers and properly handles all baserunners and fielders; the glitch only causes the players to not appear on the actual field. By the way, I am using the simple default field for all teams. It kind of seems that the problem may be tied to the specific field, at least temporarily. I often see the problem during the first game of a three game set. The glitch persists for the entire series, but everything will be restored when I move on to another stadium to play a different team. Up 'til now, the problem has always seemed to correct itself. But now runners on second base are not appearing on my home field. It's kind of difficult to articulate, so here's a screenie of the problem in action. Here we have a walk by Hall with runners on first and second. Notice that the runner on second that moves on to third, Marshall, is not displayed on the broadcast screen. ![]() The glitch seems to occur randomly and without cause. However, there have been at least two instances in which I click on a player on the broadcast screen to check their ratings and that's when they disappear. Since then, I no longer view players through the broadcast screen, but it's still happening. Any ideas? |

There are co-ordinate locations for each of the fielders in the stadium setup screen (I think), and I think it's possible to accidentally move a fielder, and therefore change the co-ordinates to ones which are off-screen. I've never actually played with this, and I'm not even completely sure where you find the settings in-game- I've just read about it on the forums- but if you go to your ballpark editor, if you can reset the fielder co-ordinates to their defaults, I think that should bring everything back to normal.

Yeah, you can move around the location of the players on the field by dragging and dropping them. When trying to click on one of the players to view his player profile, you probably dragged his tab and pulled him off of the viewable screen for that ballpark. You need to edit the ballpark data for the park in question.

You guys got it pegged perfectly. That was exactly the problem. Everything is perfect. Thanks!
By the way, I've been playing this game nonstop since release and had no idea you could move players around on the field, lol. |
