League Creation Paralysis

Dear Board,

Recently, I have become sickeningly frustrated at the instability of this game. With this said, my problems, while at first were only limited to myself, appear to be occurring all over these threads. I searched, no answers. Problems are:

1.) Upon multiple attempts to create historical leagues, whenever I import a template containing minor leagues, game crashes to eternal "ootp2007.exe execution fail" box.

2.) Upon multiple attempts to save/back-up/salvage what is left of my "damaged" .lg files, and attempt to fix the problem(s) via means of messing with schedules, game still crashes to eternal "ootp2007.exe" error.

My specs are:

awesome fast computer that blows OOTP's mind. XP and lots of RAM.

I'm not even keen on "sending" files, because this has happened on more then 4 different occasions. Would you be interested in the technical specs of the error code?

Please help me.

I'm sorry that we couldn't figure out how to help you through this issue earlier. Could you please try installing the final patch and let us know if that helps things for you? Thanks.
