Freezes during game load at 93%

After simming about 14 years, the game crashed during a simulation. Now it will no longer load my game, freezing at 93%. I tried defragging and running chkdsk, to no avail. It will still load other saved games.

Unfortunately I hadn't backed up for a while. Is there any hope of getting this game to load again?

Try this: rename your "faces.dat" file to "faces.old". See if that allows you to get back into your league file.

Try turning off your anti-virus software.

Corsairs Hall Of Famer Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 2,360	Try this: rename your "faces.dat" file to "faces.old". See if that allows you to get back into your league file.
