OOTP8: "Unable to open the user data folder!"

Yes, My Documents is stored on a network drive, and I have followed the instructions to make a paths file in %appdata%\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\data\config

Still doesn't work.

The log appears to indicate that, for whatever reason, the paths file is not being called up:

Tue 4th Mar 18:06 startup Use of OS specific folders is set to ACTIVE
Tue 4th Mar 18:06 startup DISK_MANAGER::application_folder_name is '\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\'
Tue 4th Mar 18:06 startup DMPT_OS_USER_DATA defaults to \\172.20.0.100\steve\MyDocs\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\data
Tue 4th Mar 18:06 startup DMPT_OS_APP_DATA defaults to \\172.20.0.100\steve\AppData\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\data
Tue 4th Mar 18:06 startup This is the DMPT_OS_USER_DATA path now: C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8
Tue 4th Mar 18:06 startup This is the DMPT_OS_APP_DATA path now: C:\172.20.0.100\steve\AppData\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\data

Help would be most appreciated.

I am having the same issue. I have tried reinstalling multiple times.

And substituted Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\data where applicable?
