Overall or Potential Ratings (or Stars) not showing up in "Default" view

Using PC.
Scouts are on.
Stars (or 20-80 numbers) appear in player profile but not in "Default" view under Overall or Potential in any of the league or team sorting screens (transaction, player search, etc.). Only a simple "dash". In otherwords, I cannot sort by Overall or Potential.
Turning scouts off fixes the problem, but it doesn't make sense that I can see Overall/potential ratings in the Player profile, but not in the "Default" view.

This might be a simple matter of my scout filing a report, and then I can view Potential/Overall in Default view? (But of course, when the game starts it says my team is scouting its players.)

Sorry if this isn't a bug.

If you are playing as a GM with a scouting director working for you, you'll want to use the Scouting or Ratings Scouted by dropdown menus to select your scouting director.

Does that solve your problem?
